ve pump ?

How do I change the fuel shut off to a mechanical cable pull type on a 93 W 250

if i hit a bump in the road the truck dies wiggel the wires and it will start and go again

Do I have to Pull out the shut off solenoid to make this work or gut it?

cool thanks guys And also if i turn the fuel screw in is that all i have to do to get a little more out off this old truck

Itrongly suggest getting gauges before you add any more fuel. At least a pyro, but boost is good to keep up with. If you have an auto I would also suggest a tranny temp. gauge. When you start adding more fuel, you may want to invest in a fuel pressure gauge as well.

Now to the actual question, yes, turn the fuel screw to get some more power from the truck. You may also want to check for full throttle travel.

Replace the crappy spade connectors with a ring terminal and you will never have that problem again. Even cheaper than a pull cable.
