Camper 9000 trucks have 4000 lb front ends and the inside of the arms have doublers and they can take the same heavy Ball Joints.. Other trucks have lighter arms. 92/93 D250/350 trucks also have these heavy arms.

1972-1977ish Camper 9000 package trucks are common around here right now, there are like 5 in the local pick n pulls near Sacramento.

When you get that driver arm look for a doubler on the under/inside of the aft joint. If it doesn't have one it is the lighter model... Let us know, I'm curious about the build quality too.

Here is what I have recieved from the company in Florida. Currently trying to round up all the parts to assemble it, then install it on that truck. I notice in your pic that you had takin a pic of the left side if it was flipped over. Looks like some sort of reinforcement from the manufacturer was done. I used a calipers & a rough thickness was 0.180 or around 3/16" thick. Like I said, still waiting on other parts before I start assembly of the arm. If anyone would like pics, please pm me & I will send them to u. Thanks

New ball joint doesn't fit the control arm. The arm is designed for a press in, not a screw in type ball joint. Any thought?

are you sure you ordered the 4000# ones ? when I ordered mine they sent me an Email giving me the right part # for the 4000 lbs front end A arms to conferm I had them.
I also ordered the loaded A arms with bushings and ball joints it had screw ins that had 2 tack welds on them

I got mine from this company also. Came with bushings and balljoint and has by far outlasted the one the local dodge dealership had put on. That one was eaten in about 2 months and this ones just fine still 6,000 miles later. I need to order one for the other side from them next.
