build jic lines to feed oil to the chargers
relocate the heat exchanger
make new tranny cooler lines
install aux tranny cooler.
build new charge pipe because i scresed up the first one
build tubing to the intercooler and to the intake
install P/S intercooler
mount espar
run all cooling lines to espar and heatercore.

when flipping the manifold the top turbo hits the factory hard heatercore line.
what you do?
oil drain into the bottom pan
what you do?weld,JB weld,Bulkhead fitting?
can you get the pan out with the crossmember there?
anyone get a 5" downpipe in there?
i almost got it.have a 90* on put if i weld it i can't get in back in lol

Looking nice. I like sch. 40 for the hotpipe, but not everyone runs it. Any better pics of your primary brace?

You can buy these lines or bend some of your own. Some people run heater hose or pushlok the whole way.

For the primary drain, I welded a fitting in the oil pan. Source Automotive sells a fitting that they thread in and JB weld to seal.

because my hot pipe is directly behind/below it has left little room in there for exhuast clearance.
i can get a 5" in there but removal/installation will be almost impossible.
also wondering about heat. i will wrap it but still worried.
iam contemplating a body lift just to accomidate this but thats another can of worms as the fan shrould wont clear the fan .... i was thinking a 1"
body lift would be enough.
i may build 1" alluminum pucks and re use the factory bolts.
for the mount its hard to see now.
i used a piece of 1.5"x1.5" piece of angle iron welded to a plate and to the same plate a cut piece theat supports the turbo at the flange as well.
There is a gasket on the angle piece so the drain seals . then i welded a 3/4" npt bung to the angle so the turbo drain doesnt leak .
the turbo is supported in two spots and that bracket bolts to anothe that uses the motor mount bolts and the two bolts that origianlly held the heat exchanger bracket.
It will never break and there is NO weight at all on the hot pipe

i can reduce it to 4" after the first bend.
i dont want to buy another turbo flange, actually i dont want t owait 2 weeks for it to show up.

I tossed a 3" body lift in my extended cab.
I used parts left over from all the 4x4 builds I've done.
I cut and welded in 3" spacers for the rad support to keep all the plumbing in the same place. And just jacked up the body after I made the proper cuts in it.
Total time was under 3 hours.
I feel it's totally worth it as getting access to everything under the truck is super simple!!
In the end I'm going to go for a 2" body lift and a 2" suspension lift.
Put my 4" exhaust in by myself in a couple of hours and it was a joy to do.
Give me a shout if you need a hand.

got the ps intercooler fitted
turbos are in for good.

intercooler piping.
and thats it...............i think.

took a couple hours.............but got lower oil drain done.
and for the record the oil pan cannot be removed with the crossmember in.
installed the bulkhead fitting.........was tough but i think it will seal .
praying the oil pan does not leak....
or it will need to be replaced

got the charge pipe done.
was fun

just went through the list.................looks like another day work then off to the body shop for new paint

if you want a short 90* hotpipe you have to move it.
iam putting the heat exchanger on the inner frame at the rear of the cab pass side.
plumbing the heat exchanger and another fan cooler in series.
that combined with my deep sump pan the tranny will stay nice and cool.
