Probably going to go with twin ball bearing turbos and then set them up so I can run a bunch of nitrous if I want to. I was definitely not set up to run as much nitrous as I did, and that is why I blew my headgasket. Mine is studded and oringed which is why it probably lasted 9 runs on the dyno before it let loose.

Lucas1 with what you have I am sure you will be over 500hp with water/meth. Nice build.

What injectors did you run at the event? Truck looked a bit smokey when idiling, but made good power and sounded great as well. What difference in egt's, boos, and spool up do you see from the hx40 secondary to the 35/40?

Injectors are DDP 100lpm they are a 5x.025 or 5x.026 I can’t remember off the top of my head. They haze pretty bad for DD.
The 35/40 starts spooling 200-250rpms sooner. It makes all the difference in the world when pulling the switchbacks around here with a trailer. It’s the difference between downshifting into 2nd instead of pulling in 3rd. Egt’s are lower down low about 200* or so, but it starts choking up high where the 40 will keep the egts 150* lower when going all out.

Completely serious it makes me want to do some more testing. I am sorry if I came across differently. I am making an effort to be a little more serious now and not letting things get to me anymore. I guess it’s because I am getting older.

I just wish I had access to a dyno. Closest one is 3.5hrs away.

No problem man, I just wasn't sure.
Sometimes it's hard to tell how people meant for something to come across when you're just reading it on a forum.

Keep up the R&D and we'll see the 1000rwhp mark broke soon.

thanks.

now bolt on some ballbearing garrets a ported polished hamilton head and hit the dyno again i think you can get bigger fuel numbers.

jasons truck is cool as hell making that power. but nitrous is cheating

well the body shop is taking a while......at least they are doing a good job.

havent tested the turbo setup yet. but idling an dmoving around the body shop i see a small oil leak at the drain hose to the pan from a crimped hose end....easy to fix.

got a solid three days work on the exhaust intercooler finish and the little stuff after the body shop.

For what it's worth, the only time my draw straw has ever sucked air was after the low fuel light had been on for about 50 miles and I took off WOT from a stop sign.

The liquid filled gauges will most likely lie to you. I have found any gauge under hood needs to have the liquid drained to read correctly.
