Correct me if I wrong but can't you just leave the front hubs unlocked to achieve what your looking for? Or are you looking to do a little more driving in 2low then just backing up a trailer?
Also there is a good write up on pirate4x4 about twin sticking a 205 without having to buy a kit from someone I will try and find it quick for you...

you cant separate the drives to the front without modifying the shift sliders, it terminates the detent pin from disallowing front output slider activity, the case has to be disassembled to input gear and rear output being removed, to access shift slider shift fork drift pins for removal. I can run front only, hi or low, rear only, hi or low.

Bg enemy why did you bring this up lol!! I want a 5/6 speed in my truck with the GV od. I have no need for the 2 stick transfer BUT having a chrome 5/6 speed shifter with 2 chrome t/c shifters would be cool looking. Being an old school truck driver you can never have toooo many shift levers lol! Mmmmm maybe dual t/c with 4 sticks lol!! Good luck on your project!!

Yes offroad design makes the kit. i have it installed on my truck works great. you will just need to make longer links. no shift rail modafications are needed if you are just wanting 2 rear low. only time the rails need to be modified is if you are wanting to have just the front axle turning with no power to the rear

That sounds better I climb a lot of hills where I am at most of the time I don't need 4 wheel drive just a lower gear or creeping around a pasture
