turbo swaping

turbo swaping

i took turbo of of my 93 gona put in my 92 i know its not the best turbo but for now its the FREE turbo so is there something i should know befor i put it on

for oiling it im planning to unplug fuel solenoid and cranking the engine that should oil the turbo or am i rong

Just pour oil into the inlet fitting while spinning the turbo. That'll be good enough.

It's a better turbo than what's there now.

I poured oil in the inlet while spinning it, but no oil went in when I did mine. I wasn't sure it was good enough (I now know it was, but I'm paranoid) so I left the drain unhooked and cranked the truck with the fuel shutoff solenoid unplugged until I got oil out the bottom of the turbo, then hooked it back up.
