Turbo Question
I am in a heated discussion with one of the Dodge truck owners here in my shop. THe argument is over pressure ratio between the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold on the CTD. What is the relationship between the two and where can I find it.

Ideally, intake manifold pressure could be made with no exhaust manifold pressure/restriction at all. Sadly, this isn't the case. 1:1 is nice and anything below that is even better. To answer the question (as best I can) the overall pressure ratio of the system at 'x' intake manifold pressure is based on the combination of the turbine housing and exhaust housing sizes. The ratio itself constantly changing, based on engine load/speed etc. my best guess, hehe.
