Ok, so I am REAL immpatient. I called every dodge dealer around and NO one has the stinkin gasket, gunna be several days waiting. Will permatex or some kind of "liquid" gasket subside for a while?

Im dying to get that WH1C mounted up!!

Make sure the surfaces are clean and use it sparingly. Get the copper stuff, it's for high temp areas.

Sweet, let me know if it works. I'm gonna use the spare tube I have to drain my BHT3B and I know that sourcing gaskets and stuff is a real pain!

If you are going to use the stuff, use a real thin bead (cut just the very tip off the nozzle) and let it skin over before you put the parts together. A piece of RTV in a piston cooling nozzle could ruin your day.

ahh, thanks dave! That being said, Im goin to the barn! WH1C commin right up!!

I immagine something stuck in a nozzle somewhere could make for a VERY bad day. Thanks!

I'll let ya know what I come up with Ilikebikes!

The gasket is easy to get ahold of if yer patient. Which was not a programmed trait of mine. I have one comming but I just cant stand the tension thats mounting.
I guess watching cummins pullin and drag videos arnt helping matters either

Go to a local farm supply or autoparts house and get some gray paper gasket material and make your own gasket. This is what I did for both the oil drain and the air intake. Works fine. No sealer needed.

I have used anaerobic gasket maker for the last 3 or 4 turbo swaps I have done. No leaks thus far, and it sets up almost immediately.

Well I got it all together yesterday. The permatex blue RTV or what ever it is, is a temporary solution. Its leaking, or was. I havent checked it today, I allowed it to set up for a few minutes before assembly, then still allowed it to do its thing while I fought with the bolt on the engine side for the drain tube. and the rest of assembly. My gasket is in now, so I gotta go get it. oh well, Itt did what i wanted it to do, Temp. solution.
