Ka been out looking at my truck and i think that if one of the radaitor tubes(inlet and outlets) were to be moved it should be the upper one for 2 reason the lower one will need a spring in the hose to keep it from colapsing and there would have to be a custom pipe made to rought the lower hose back to were it goes into the block theres quite a nasty bend that would be reqired to get back to he lower inlet of the block. a vary long hose w spring would have to be installed and there is to menny bend that would be required to us a strate pease of hose
.
If the upper hose was to be moved to the ether side the you could us the 91.5-93 thur.outlet and maybe the the stock upper hose allso.............

How has a "pic "of the under hood area of there intecooled truck that shows the thurmostate housing?.....
can some on help me out here........need all the input that i can get

The mod that I was talking about with the rad tank is to move the UPPER rad hose to the drivers side of the rad.

I have the 93 radiator installed in one mine, and it cools 100% better ...BUT it will still get hot towing on long grades. If I do another mod. it will be to install a second gen rad. in one but that will involve moving the A/C and trans. cooler lines and turning the battery tray sideways also installing a second tranny cooler under the bed with a fan makes a huge differance.our TCs stink and put a lot of heat in to the cooling system.

Mine's a standered so i don't have that issue, but the 2nt gen radiator is still a thought, and when i put an intercooler in my truck it s going to be using a 2nt gen. I just haven't looked down that road to hard yet. allthow if i'm going to start cutting and drilling it will be for a much bigger(2nt gen) radiator.

turning the batery try side was......thats a good idea!!

Got my radiator fan to day(Fan- 52028653) still whating for the fan clutch but desided to go and do some measuring to day and....well the orig.fan is 18.5" and the the new fan is 22"
Now the delema and why this part number is'nt offered is becuse the shroud openning is.....you guessed it, 22" So the only way that we(89-91.0)can us this set up is to 1 remove the shroud or, trim the openning 3" bigger

so for me the search gos on

still haven't been able to catch my radiator guy.....it kinda a side job for him!

I also think it time to start measuring 2nt gen radiators w/shroud!!!!
