Truck died while driving

My 2 wheel truck died while driving out of the driveway. It has always run great.

I thought/think someone might had stole the fuel .

I now have fuel in the tank for sure.

I cracked the exit line on the fuel pump and used the hand pump. Nothing came out.

I took the feed line off the lift pump and blew air in it to see if I could hear air/fuel gurgling in the tank. My brother could not hear anything.

I wrapped a rag around air hose and inserted where you add fuel to the truck, pluging this up to put tank under pressure and see if fuel would come out the line where it connects to lift pump. Nothing came out.

I am thinking I now need to drop tank. It seems like somthing is plugged up.

What do you think?

Try blowing back into the tank via the fuel line. If there is a sock, chances are it's plugged.

if theres air in the lines and ip then crack you injector lines and blead it from there, but unless you removed the role over ball in the fuel in line then its impossible for sombody to steal you fuel

Try this :

Dis-connect the grid-heater feed wires, thus dis-abling the heaters.

Loosen and open an intake-boot, or take the air-cleaner tube loose at the turbo.

Run a temporary line from the lift-pump to a jug of fuel.

Remove the little metric bleeder-screw at the outlet side of the filter.

To save hand-pumping, unscrew the filter and pour it full of fuel.

Work the hand-pump until fuel squirts out the bleeder.

Close the bleeder.

Continue pumping thirty more strokes.

While someone cranks the engine, spray a mist of ether/starting-fluid into the intake; don't get carried away; it don't take much.

The engine should fire and run.

If so, then your suspicions of blockage somewhere between lift-pump and tank are probably correct.
