Transmission part?
Would someone please give me the part number for the electrical connector to the transmission overdrive control? I need plug that is part of the truck's wire harness that plugs into the transmission overdrive solenoid.

Dave, I wound up putting the old plug back in, as it wasn't broke. Here is my delima. Tim, Tim and I put in a DTT torque converter and Dtt shift kit. The OD solenoid decided to quit. I drove it for three days without OD until Tim could get a part and fit me into his schedule, which by the way was quickly done. We installed the solenoid valve and serviced the tranny Wed. night. Now it goes into 4th immediately after shifting into third at any throttle setting. Unplug the wire to the servo and it won't ever shift into 4th. The dash button light comes on when pushed and has zero effect and it will not kickdown until the speed is slow enough to hit second. The TV cable is set at 1/8" and I have one volt at idle and 3.75 volts at WOT off the TPS. I have clean connections on the PCM and 12.24 volts at the servo with the eng. off, key on. The ground wire from the servo back read .54 ohms. the servo read 37 ohms across the two wires. I haven't take the dash switch out and tested it yet but the rain stops here tomorrow. HAve I missed anything?

Sounds like you need to go see Tim again.
The dash switch is a momentary pushbutton that tells the PCM what you want, it doesn't actually control anything.

i have a listing for "wiring, auto trans 2wd" in the catalog. part #56003204. unfortunatly it is ns1 (disc). it would have listed for $52.00 but that is irrelevant as it is no longer available. sorry

Well, I took the push button out and drove the truck. No kickdown from 4th. I ran a continuity check across the switch....tested sat. Pulled the wire off the plug at the temp sensor and drove the truck....no change, still no kickdown. Ordered a new temp sensor just in case it is supposed to have some resistance. It will be Tuesday before I can get it. Guess I will take it to a service center and have the PCM tested. If that tests OK, i'll go back to Tim. That and the spool valve are the only thing left but, I don't think it is the spool valve because if I disconnect power to the solenoid valve I don't get 4th gear at all. I can always put a switch in the power line and shift it manually.
