Transmission leak

Yesterday afternoon I noticed a small (new) fluid leak under my truck. Turns out it was tranny fluid. I wipped everything down didn't think to much of it at the time. After work I returned to find a small puddle, so I turned the truck on and found it edit out of one of the bends in the tranny line right by the back left corner of the tranny pan. I guess when I wipped things down I move the clamp that holds the 2 lines together aggravating a hairline crack. Anyway, I consider myself very fortunate that it happened the way it did and not on the road.

For the repair would rubber tranny hose work or am I best to source the molded factory stuff?

cheers

Rubber fuel line will not work but the tranny rubber line will work just fine, as long as you have or put a lip on the metal line that the hose will be ataching to
