Tranny Output Shaft Seal?

Help! I want to put my t case back in. I found a bad seal on the out put shaft of the tranny. I can not find this seal at any parts store and I was looking at BC847's build and pics and there is no seal just output shaft with the bearing. All right please help thanks guys.

I am not sure if you want the seal or the gasket that goes between the tc and tranny, but they are both here. ...Mark

well used the same one that came out of the rig. but it certainly don't look right. seal is in tight and i can still see the bearings. The napa people said the one that came out of the rig was referenced to a getrag. i have an auto, 518a. i checked the t case it is a 205, yet again napa not referenceing any numbers for that one.

talked with a fellow member on the phone and he says that he doesn't recall a seal at all, and that since this is the over drive unit it should be wet. please let me now if you know different, i got a guy hanging around to help me and i would like to not keep him waiting.

Where the transfer case's input shaft, penetrates the front wall of the transfer case, there are two(2) identical seals that are installed back-to-back. One keeps the trans fluid in the trans, the other keeps the transfer case's lube oil in the transfer case.

The is no seal that is installed in the OD's tail-shaft housing. In fact, the transmission fluid will spill into and partially fill the cavern of the transfer case where the OD and transfer case shafts couple.

Such has been my experience.
