Help!! Front Output shaft seal on T/C

No auto parts place has the right part. I have tried everyone and they all come up with the same part# for the seal which i have verified as wrong. I make sure they are looking up the NP205. Is there a different size yoke that you can put on or something thats throwing me off? I'm quickly running out of ideas. Even the NP205 rebuild kit has seals that don't match up to mine. Has anyone else had this problem?? This is about the last thing holding up the show to the whole project.

Marv, you're not clear as to which seal you're looking so I'll throw them all out there and let you sort it out. EDIT! DUH! I read the title again!

NOTE: the following part numbers are for a 1990 ~ 1993 D body truck.
Further, the differences you're running into seem to be coming from the fact that the NP205 can be connected: With or without the diesel engine, and that's further divided by: With manual trans, with A727, 435, etc.
And finally, these numbers may very well have been superseded, so be ready for that.

Here's what I read as your mess ('93 W250 W/manual) . . . . . .

- Seal, input shaft from trans P/N 4269 183 (This appears to be a 2 part seal as shown in the book. Loads from inside that cover plate).

- Seal, Front output shaft bearing retainer P/N 4167 908

- Oil Seal, rear output shaft P/N 2954 128

It appears that there are little rubber gasket/seals for the nut to shaft interface(s). Let me know if you need those (gotta dig).

Hope this helps.

Just the front output shaft seal. I have the little rubber seals that go behind the yoke. Thanks for looking if the Driveline shops seal they are going to have for me tomorrow doesn't work then on to the dealer with your #'s.

yes PSD with the #'s 13970. No match could be found for it. Napa should be calling shortly to let me know its in and then we will see what they come up with.

I hate to hijack a thread but by any chance are the same type seals (little rubber gasket/seals for the nut to shaft interface) used on the 727 trans of a D250? All my trans manuals show the 727 with slip yoke and I think something should be there to seal the nut that holds the yoke.

Thats not what I was looking for. There is a gasket, seal between the yoke and the shaft. Not sure of the best place to find that. If I had to today I would be going to my local driveshaft shop where I found the seal.
