Hey guys!!! My of is about to kill me. In cold weather my of will kick out while merging into tragic. NOT a good time if ya know what I mean. Will this sticky work for me? https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=156988. I have replaced my tps already.

Mines on a switch, I love it, the only thing I think that would be better would be to install the potentiometer to be able to tune the overdrive to my liking.

Does your truck have a trans temp sensor?
If it does, and I think it does, it is running too cool and dropping out of OD to warm it up. Try putting a towel in front of the radiator with it running and go drive it. With my 95 this cured it it really cold weather--like 10 or colder.

You are correct. Im trying to find a way around this problem. I can understand building temperature for pulling heavy loads with the tranny cold. It just gets aggravating when it cycles in and out on the hwy doing 70 mph.
