99 dodge 3/4 ton automatic transmission, problem is when truck shifts 4 wheel drive disengages and then engages with a loud clunk. i have replaced actuator and checked vacum lines any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the trunion lock bolt assembly on the transfer case shift rod, down on the side of the transfer case. They work loose and the shifter then sometimes binds on the floor pan and causes the transfer case lever to move when the engine twists.
