That is about what mine did with the +40 sticks and GDS 60. If that is what you get with the 6X16's, they have to be running a lot better.

Just pulled this one home today! Overloads were about 1/4" away from the perches/stops too.

The highest EGTs I saw pulling all the hills on the way home. Holding 55mph, 1100 degs., 15psi. In fact, it pulled every hill at 55mph and without hesitation! Impressive for this old girl, I think! (A little blurry 'cause I was driving)

Very nice Jimbo! Is that old 350 going to be a parts truck or a runner?

This was last summer. It was my families first annual Big Lake outing which is up in the cascades of Oregon. The bed was full of our camping gear. I know it's not as heavy as pulling a tractor but it was enough to make the trans get pretty warm goimg up the pass.

I'm still debating that. From what I understand, it has a crank on the passenger-side frame rail behind the bumper bracket. The PO guesses that it could be from the massive bumper hanging off the front. I didn't look at it myself but a friend of mine said we could weld the crack, grind it and then weld a 1/4" plate over it and it should be fine. If the weight of the bumper caused it, no worries. I'll find a standard bumper to throw on it and know it'll be just fine. The interior needs a lot of cleaning up. So as I said, I'm still debating on cleaning it up or using what parts I want/need and selling the rest. Guess I'll have to make that decision soon .
