Tire vs. Rim Size
tallest street legal 16" tire is the mickey thompson baja claw, but the wheel needs to be about 15" wide. 37" is about the biggest you can go with stock wheels. superswamper ltb comes in 47" but you can only get it in 15 & 16.5, irok's smallest wheel is 16.5 every once in a while you can find something like a 39.5/1350-16
Sorry, wasn't to specific...
I just have the stock steel wheels. How have the Toyo's treated you? I love my Yoko Geolanders, good tread for all around, snow, mud, highway... I just have been wondering how tall I can go. I have been dreaming of 19.5's but can't justify the expense...

I believe the stock rims the widest recommended would be 265/75r16
however the 255/85s are almost 33 inches tall and fairly narrow. They are the tallest you can fit on there.
The cooper 7.50-16 tires are equivelant to about a 235/85r16. They're pretty tall and skinny.
255/85r16 load range E's are rare and hard to find, from what I understand. But the toyo's are definitely available at schwabs in that size, I'm sure you can find them online as well.
the toyo's have been awesome. I have them on wheels that are straight and true, so that helps.
I would see what sales les schwab is having. I heard that m55's go on sale for as low as 150 each sometimes. the wild country M/T and A/T are also popular. I have the H/T which are terrible in the snow but awesome for highway which is all I ever see.
