so fellas i had my timing bumped 1/8 and didint see much diffrence, so i pushed it closer to the head, i saw that lots of people have done it and its supposed to add mpg but really what does it do and how much hotter do your vavles get, does it add hp or tq, i pull about 1 to 2 trailers a week about 100+- miles about 5 to 6 tons, i drive on the freeway a lot always travelin for 10+- hours about once every two weeks but i dont work my truck too hard, will i be ok with my timing that advanced? just curious didnt mean to drag on thanks for all your posts and opinions, cody!

 

As long as it doesn't sound harsh at idle it'll be OK.
