ticking piston lift pump

A few weeks back I did the piston pump conversion and I really like it. Except for this intermittant ticking noise at hot idle that I noticed about a week ago. I sure it has probably made the noise since day 1 as it seems to tick only after a long drive. Further diagnosis with a stethescope revealed the piston pump to be the source of the noise. I looked at some of the 2nd gen posts and found some experiencing similar symptoms. I wondered if any of the 1st gen gods had experienced this problem. Also don't know the reason for this but there are 2 different part #'s floating around for the pump gaskets but I doubt that is the problem.

Anybody know what cummins parts warranty is .

Mine's a little noiser than the stocker, too. I don't think it's a problem. Doesn't leak and the pressure is good.

Mine sounds like a gasser with a bad hydraulic lifter once in a while, don't know if thats ok. It seems to have plenty of fuel and isn't leaking as well. I need to install a pressure gauge here soon.
