It increases the governor lever's range of motion. That makes more fuel available at all RPM and boost levels. It is not a mod for everyone, since even with stock injectors it will put out a pretty good cloud until the turbo spools. Like Alec said, it will not pass emissions if they have a snap test in your state. With POD's you can shut down 4 lane roads if you want to. You can drive it cleanly if you want to though.

Yes, the POD's work wonders on tailgaters. Drop down to about 30mph put it in 5th and floor it.......they back off quick I need to find out more about this governor spring. I've heard about it before coming to this website, but never really looked into it. I've only made adjustments to the smoke adj screw and power adj screw. The fuel pin is new to me too......hmmm heh heh heh

I could care less about smoke with fuel prices like they are.

I can make the smoke now if I want but it's still $$$$$ into the air
and nothing in the pocket.

The pocket comes first with all the tight a$$ out there want you to haul for
30 or 40 cents a mile ......NOT ME! I can sit home for nothing.
