tick tick wait wait tick tick
Already done all that, I just swapped out the HX35 center and front to my
old 18 rear. I've never had a bad time getting the housings off, lucky me I guess.
It's this waiting that I can't stand BUT it cost me $32.00 to get a new
silicone adapter hose for the HX35 overnight OUCH!!
Now that was expensive to say the least.

Well it got here, I was looking for UPS and using a few choice words.
Started to move the other car and low and behold there is a package
on the drivers seat, YEP!! there was the new housing. Did the swap out
yesterday in between the rain drops in about 45 minutes. Now all I have
to do is warm things up and see how it spools. Yeah I will run it through
a few heat cycles before I crank on it hard.

59ford, Have you put a governer spring in? if not I would highly recomend installing one. It helps in shifting through all gears, my 2nd to 3rd shift was the worst but now I can get enough rpms in 2nd that once I grab 3rd all I get is a puff of smoke and she's pullin hard again.

Oh -- I lied, there is another way to fix the problem -- grind the foot off the AFC lever. You will then be able to get enough fuel out of the pump at lower RPM's that you won't care about the "torque control". Just don't try to pass a smog test afterward
3200 GSK is on the way.
The AFC has been cranked in a bit, star wheel down 1/2 turn.
I would still like to know what grinding the AFC foot actually does.
This will be the question when the GSK gets here.
Now I am back on the clock, tick, tick, tick
