Getrag is a good trans. But finding a donor 4x4 truck or ALL the necessary parts is nearly impossible because every other 4x4 automatic guy is looking for the same swap......

Your correct I am having a hard time finding a doner truck. I looking to find nv4500 doner now. What should I be looking for parts?

I think we will have to arm wrestle for that getrag if you find one here in washington haha .. I check craigslist every day at least five times

We found a '97 5spd around here for $500. It didn't have an engine, but it had an NN4500 with less than 200K miles on it, and the rest of the drivetrain. And it had brand new Michelin's on it, which on now on my truck.
