Thermostats

Can anyone think of a good reason to run a 195 thermostat in a first gen in Canada? (currently -40)
I have looked all over the net and can only find a 180 listed for the first gens, it appears that the 195's I find are all for the second gens.
I'm sure a second gen 195 will physically fit, but what about driveability issues running the first gen so hot?

I don't see any problem with it.

Post up when/if you do this. I'd love a warmer running engine at -40*. With my radiatior blocked off and the fan pulled for the winter I can get the temp up over 200* and the heater output is much better.
