Dorman #611-051 I went through this with my local shwab store...they balanced my tires and it road like a buck board....they wernt aware of the need to use those nuts to center the wheel.Thats the ones I used and just did it myself.
'72-'85 9000# GVWR Dodges (1 ton on singles or "heavy 3/4") use the tapered lug for a 5/8" stud.
The coined dually wheels are self-centering, dunno why you need tapered nuts to center them.
If there's a vibration, it's likely bent.
Mark.

Shwab balanced my tires and just used the flanged nuts it came with and road like ****! I bought (4) 5/8x18 tapered seat lugs and used those on 4 lugs, then rattled on the other flange nuts, then removed the tappered nuts and installed the rest of the flange nuts...and it road nice and smooth...apparantly they dont self center good enough. It made a huge differance.
Dodge recommends this procedure in the owner's manual. My truck bounces badly without doing this. See the sticky for more info.
