Instrument panel lighting

Does anyone know what wire on the headlight switch powers the dash lights? Also what wire at the back of the cluster powers them? I assume they would both be the same color wire but I am not sure.

IIRC those are the 2 pages you need for this circuit.

Tan wire out of the switch to the fuse then an Orange wire to the Instrument panel.

Ok I am finally getting around to looking at these dash lights. I have power to the headlight switch on B1 that is the onlt power in to the switch. When I turn the parking lights on there is no power at terminal I. I is the terminal that is supposed to power the dash lights. So I put a jumper between I and B1 and I have dash lights. So that should mean the switch is bad then right? This whole thing started with a intermittent dash light problem. If you messed with the head light switch you could get them to work. I assumed that meant the headlight switch was bad so I put a new one in and I cant get them to work at all now. Maybe the new switch I bought was also defective? I checked for continuity between Terminal I and B1 on both switches and I have nothing on either switch. I am kinda stumped it must be a bad switch right?

I think I found it. Smeone replaces the pig tail for the headlight switch at one time and the wire that goes to terminal B2 dosent have any power and that is the one that powers the dash lights now I just need to see what wire powers B2. When I find it and hook it up it should work now. I put power to B2 with a jumper and turned the lights on and the dash lights worked. So I should be good now.

Ok I was completly wrong in my previous post. There was a bad connection in one of the butt connectors that were used to replace the pig tail for the head light switch. So I cut all the butt connectors out and started soldering and shrink wraping all the wires back together. They arent exactly in the easiest place to get to either. I think I have it all fixed but I needed a brake for a few minutes then I will test it all out.
