tailgate strap alternative?
Need new straps for my tailgate, ebay and lmc look like they are about $60, anybody have alternatives that? From searching the forums I'm guessing not, but thought I'd ask.

I would find a OEM set, to buy them from the vendors you listed.
Otherwise I guess you could hack something together with long bolts, some nuts and chain. Kind of like the old step side tailgates that use chain and hooks for the tailgates.
