You need the manual fly wheel. Not sure on exact measurements but autos are usually longer than manuals. Make sure you have plenty of slack in both slip joints on the drive shafts.

Install the M/C mounting bracket before installing the pedals. With the clutch pedal in. It a 2 wrench job. With the pedal out you can use a ratchette.

That getrag package is 8" shorter than a 518 is. So you need the shafts from the donor.

BG Enemy im jeoulous that you have the parts to do this. I want to do mine with the Getrag or the NV4500 or even the NV5600 and get away from the slush box. I have a lead on a 4500 but still will have to find the remaining parts. But today im doing my favorite job bahahaha re-roofing my in-laws roof, id rather be bitten by a cobra than do roofing lol. Good luck on your project!!

As Phillp said, you will need to use the parts truck's driveshafts, as the A-518 is a much longer transmission.

I would have a new pilot bearing, a throw out bearing and some transmission mount rubbers on hand at least before pulling the truck apart for the swap.

Depending on if you have a lift on not, mounting the trans first
then the T-case separately might be easier to handle if your working on your back.
If you have a shop with a lift and trans jack, mounting them together is easier.

would be easier to use the donor transfer case as the splines are different between auto and manual.

That is correct Thrub.
The Auto NP-205 is 23 spline.
The Manual NP-205 is 29 spline.
Good luck today with the trans bench pressing game...I have been there before

The way i was taught to bleed slave cyl that had no bleeder was to hook them up fill em up then push/pull the slave cyl a few times then wait a min or 2 then repeat. Worked every time. The old international trucks were the worst. Glad to hear you got it finished. I figured that gear box was better than slush box with less drag ect.. Keep us informed how it does!!
