Sucked my BHAF into the turbo

Now I need to upgrade I guess. The current turbo is a Stage 4 hybrid H1C with a 16cm exhaust housing. If I remember correctly it is a 60mm compressor.
Any recommendations for a step up, and where to buy it?

Don't know, never seen it before. Was jamming it onto the freeway and then it just cut power. Though I blew a boot, no such luck.

Looking at the pic you can see rust on the screen, that dry filter got wet which in turn weakened the paper element (as well as allowing more dust to cling to it and turn to cement) I'm real surprised that the screen cage wasn't deformed. That's one reason I always run a filter minder on mine. JMHO

Could the airflow be so restricted by the filter being dirty that the structural integrity of the filter collapsed under the suction from the turbocharger?......Ben

I better check mine. I also have an Outerwears pre filter. How much boost were you pushing? I hit 45 psi easy. My H1C has a GDS 60mm compressor side and a 16cm2 exhaust. Not enough air for my IP and injectors. GDS offers a 62mm compressor upgrade. I'm thinking of going that way, but I'm not convinced it will be enough. https://www.gillettdiesel.com/catalo...ocharger-Parts

I have a K&N on mine. I don't remember if it has a metal screen on the inside. It seemed pretty sturdy. I'll have to check when I get a chance. Probably when I get around to downgrading my A/C to use R12 like God intended.

I have been running the HX35 with the waste gate shut on my stuff. I don't know how they compare to your custom H1C set up, but I think they are hard to beat for the price.

HX35 is good, but unless it was free, an HE351CW is even more bang for your buck.

I like my free HX35, but when I find an HE351CW, it will be going by the wayside.

I decided to go max effort on my H1C, 62/86mm (biggest you can go with this series), 7 blade wheel, sticking with my 16cm exhaust housing with factory turbine. Comes back tomorrow!

What's the difference between an HX35 and a wH1c and an HE351CW? I have the wH1c on mine adapted to the stock crossover. No intercooler.
