stock turbo?

my question is would i do my self a favor in replacing my stock turbo and replacing it with a different year like a 93's turbo. I am trying to keep my fuel mileage the best i can but don't want to be driving a dog.

another question i have is what would be the largest injectors i should run on the stock turbo.

why would you need to replace what you have? is it bad? or do you just want more power?

i read that the stock turbo on the 92 uses a 21cm housing and other years use a smaller one, not sure right now on the size i think 18cm.

if you just want it to spool faster then you can change the exhaust housing out for a smaller one.

i could but i want some opinions i was thinking of doing a 16cm housing but i want to conserve fuel and dont know how much i will lose by doing these changes. I want to run ddp 80+ but i dont know if the stock 21cm housing or 18cm housing will keep up with them.

here are some mods i am planning.
bhaf with old smokey mount
stans exhost
injectors (dont know size yet either ddp 40+ or 80+)
fuel pin (either grind my own or pdr if the mpg loss isnt to bad)
3200 spring
i have boost, pyro, and tach just havnt installed yet.

if i were you i would put a 14cm housing on it.Not only will it help you with quicker spool it will help with the new injectors

DDP4's are too much for your stock turbo for a DD without other supporting mods. I think everyting on you list is good but the injectors and just gring your own pin. A 14cm gated housing will give you a very lively truck. The injectors on the other hand, New Era 300's or 330's would be the most I would reccomend for a DD and economy! With all that and some timing you should have a sweet runner.
