This was done by a guy who I believe either lives in Idaho or Indiana, not sure. However, he did my neighbors '93 and I was hoping i could find a nice W250 to have him convert mine. Anyhow if you provide the truck, the basic price which incluces labor and a cloth rear bench, a/c ducts and a rear slider with new carpet is $16k + or - a few hundred.
If you don't have a truck, it runs about another $10k.
Also, he does modifications.
My neighbors is just like mine but a 4x4 and its its red and grey; 1993.
Way way way freakin' nice!

So what does he extend the frame and cab and everything? That would be really nice!

He probably finds a clean '85 or older 4 door cab (best to use a '81 -'85, for heater box and other considerations). Puts 22 inches in the belly of the frame. And Presto-Changeo you hav a Crew Cab! Or you can do what I did and start with a complete crew cab and dump the cummins parts in it. By the way 1985 was the last year of the Dodge crew cab

There also are a few around that are custom coach conversions where they started with a regular or extended cab truck and built an eeeeeeeexxteended cab out of it like they do with limos. There used to be one locally that was at least the length of a 4 door but was only a 2 door and the back half was added on by a coach conversion company when the truck was new.

16k seems like a little too much to spend on a conversion... i have to admit that the truck looks AWESOME... but for 16k i can find a 99ctd 4 door 4x4... and keep the first gen. but i have to say it again... the truck looks really sweet.
