sticks a lil'

My 92 3 spd auto with o/d...wish I had a five speed...anyways, when I am at stoplights or stop signs...she'll stick. Its like she don't wanna go. Then after a few seconds with the gas down, it kicks in gear and goes....not evrytime, but enough to annoy me...also a bit dangerous if your trying to get out in traffic...somedays she gets up and goes...
Also, on the freeway, if I'm runnin her hard to get up to 65 she'll miss o/d,I will let off the gas and then she goes into o/d...drives me nuts...just put a new throttle positioning sensor on, been adjusted 3-4 times, can't seem to get it right. Am I just delaying the invietable? Do I need to rebuild or replace...if you guys have any answers...let me know. Thanks.

you shoulda went with a POT controller instead of a new expensive TPS. I put one on my truck when my OD was haywire and it solved the problem, it was a cheap and easy fix.

Not sure on your sticking though, have you done the basics? checked trans fluid? and when was the last time you serviced your tranny?

You can buy all the parts yourself, Or DNRCustoms on here is making a kit now for around $30 i believe. I got my kit from him and it worked great! PM him if you want to buy his kit.

hope that solves your OD problem

Other guys will chime in on your sticking problems, I'm far from a transmission guru.

Does the trans slip when you are sitting there or does the motor bog?

When I am at a light, stop sign etc...and its my turn to go, or the light goes green, it'll stick...like it'll barely wanna go forward. Other times, she just gets up and goes. Other times, it's like it starts off in 3rd or somethin....it's really irritating. The motor is strong, doesn't bog. I've taken it back to my mechanic several times now, and they keep telling me the TPS just needs to be adjusted. Well, whatever they are doing it ain't really workin'. I ordered the o/d kit from RNR, so I am hopin' that fixes the o/d lag. I'm stumped on the doggy take offs...unless the tranny is just rollin haggard, and I ain't talkin' Merle. I just can't afford a rebuild right now. Any ideas?

TPS has nothing to do with the lower gears. The TPS could be on fire and it would not effect 1st gear. They should know that.
