Easy fix.
Five-gallon bucket on a rope.
She uses bucket for a step-stool, then, once safely seated, pulls the bucket into the cab for later use.
Works like a charm and costs little.
If you have one of those "low-rider" women, just trade up to a less height-challenged version.

What's the later use for? Throwing up in the bucket due to the awesome suspension??
I ended up putting these on my truck:

Have been happy with them so far and was relatively easy to install...20 minutes for both sides. I was thinking about the Carr type, but have heard of poor reviews due to the attachment is only to the body which can lead to cracking/bending check out the reviews on Cabelas: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/co...box.jsp.form23.
The Bully type attaches to the body and has an attachment to the frame.

Your local Kragen's or NAPA should carry them, and there is a chart on the back of the box the steps come in that gives specific models and years as to what they will fit on. It clearly says our years. Pretty much universal. The step is mounted to the sheetmetal underneath the doors, and is stabilized straight to the frame, so there is no"kick in" each time you use the step, no matter how much one weighs. They can be swiveled upwards by loosening a couple allen bolts in case you go wheelin in the woods.
No, it's so you don't have to pull over until it's time to stop for fuel.

Put some air bags on there so you can let it down for her to get in. Probably a lot more expensive than nerf bars though. http://www.keldermanairride.com/lift...uct=94DDGLIFT6 obviously thats for newer trucks but that would be sweet!
