steering box/pitman arm

I'm still researching putting a beam axle under the front of my D350.
It will require going to a drag link steering setup, like on the 4wd trucks. Can anyone tell me if the steering boxes are the same on the W trucks as on the D's? Are the pitman arms the same, just mounted at 90 degrees compared to the center link system?

FYI: I've found that Chevy/GMC 3/4 and 1 ton front beam axles have 8 bolt hubs that will bolt right up to our brake discs. With an adaptor plate the Dodge calipers can then be mounted on the spindle, keeping the front brakes unchanged.

Death to the ball joints! Long live the Kingpin!

I think the boxes are the same, the 4wd models just have an adapter plate to move the box up higher.
