Steering box advice!!

So I just spent an hour with the search function reading about steering box leaks. My truck a 92 d250 has recently started leaking alittle then ALOT from the power steering box. The lines were rusted and leaking. I replaced them. The input shaft seals were leaking. I replaced them thinking I was done when low and behold the pitman arm seals are leaking as well!!! The steering is nice and tight so I had not given any thought to replacing the box. I then came across a post that someone had said usually if the pitman arm seal is leaking the box is pretty wore and should be replaced. Is this the general concensus or should I replace the seals (they were $17.00) or the box ($200.00?)? The truck has about 275,000 miles and appears to be the original box. BUT like I said it is still quite tight. It is probably the ONLY part of the front suspension that isnt loose and wore out. Thanks for the help!!

for $17 I would do the seals and see what that gets you, but im cheap. If you end up having to replace the whole thing at least you will know how to do the seals on the next one. Im replacing the idler arm and all the boots an my tie rod ends tomorrow, they need replacing but i guess they are about at 75% good so thats ok till i find some more money.
