I thought they never made a crew cab long box. But I was obviously wrong.

when putting a crew cabs on club cab frame, do you have to modify the cab to make it fit? Or just make new body mounts?

Don't remember the exact years but I know they had them in 69 - 71 - I was selling them..They made them into the 80's sometime.
LOoooonnnngggg edit too. 28 1/2 ft if I remember.
Really fun turning corners in parking garages

aw come on guy's there easy to turn best thing I ever did was put crossover steering on mine made it turn on a Dime n give you change to boot it Turned better then a new Ford so I was Happy and they stopped making crewcab's I believe in 85-86

Crew Cab long box were all 2WD. I converted one to 4X4 already. Crew cabs only fit on (unmodified) crew frames.

Building the cab is my winter project so it may not make it out of the garage till spring. And I just took the last month converting my other crew to 4X4... I've been busy!!

No, I'm always looking but never find exactly what I'm looking for.... Heck, I'm not even sure I know what I want yet!

Part of me just wants to go 2WD dually and make it just as comfy as possible for long distance hauling.. Another part wants to make it a bad edit 4WD.
