My 2wd frame just got an upgrade....


I think that drilling the holes for the rear hangers was the hard part. Now all I have to do is bolt the front hangers on and swap crossmemebers.

i'll second that POR15 is good stuff, here's a question is the 2wd rear spring hangers the same as 4wd? as far as hieght?

POR 15 works great when properly applied. If you fail to use the phosphoric acid based rust neutralizer cleaner and properly rinse it will most likely peel.

Yeah the rear spring hangers are the same... There are 2 different sizes of rear blocks that the 4X4's use to gain the lift.

Chassis saver

Cleaned it good with wax and grease remover prior to application.

I was looking at that when I pulled the gear bracket off the W200.. Anyone have any ideas on the best way to brace it??

One way to do it. I know that my '93 Club has a lot of frame movement in the steering box area - frame rivets may be loose in their holes?

And this is a simpler way but not as strong. my understanding is that this brace was available on some Ramchargers.

I know that situation Just good to know about My Crew is a gasser and I have a set for it as I know the stock ones are shot and with the added weight of a Cummins I imagine there under more strain.
