Dude, I love that. Only problem is, I have trouble getting my club cab into my driveway to park, I'd have to take up most of the street out front with that thing......

What did you use to cut all the spot welds?

Some are drilled all the way through and some are with a $7 spot weld cutter from harbor freight. It has 2 sides to the cutter blade and I'm still on the fist side after all those cuts.

If you notice on the left side "C" pillar there are holes.. Those were done with the drill bit.. The ones on the right "C" pillar and roof are with the cutter.

P.S.
Bristol race just got over.... I hate Cryle Busch.

Maybe you could add a second axle to the back and have a tandem too, you might need it for a 40' pick up

It's a 2WD? Are you going to box the frame for strength?

Converting to 4x4 and boxing the frame....

The cab donor truck is a W200 so I'm gonna use the springs and hangers off of it.

Actually the first three front cross members are different between a 2WD & 4WD. Also the passenger side brace on the diesel transmission cross member on the 4WD's has a notch stamped into it for what looks like exhaust pipe clearance.

ADMOPARMAN did you have any difficulty in removing the rear leaf springs?

Actually the I got the frame with no springs attached except for the rear shackles that were still bolted into the rear hangers. The shackles and bolts were rusted SOLID and we had to cut them out with the torch.
