stack advice

im think of doin a stack im gona get a 5inch mitre off i semi cut it down to lvl with the cab.
first off can i cut the bed brace, i always load my truck would this affect anything?
second off can i run 5-inch or 4inch flex pipe all the way to the down pipe for lower egt's and maybe louder deeper sound, dos flex pipe leak, will flex pipe bend at a 90? will 4inch flex or even 5inch flex fit between the t-case? just tryin to do the cheap route but still want it legit!

It would make the whole process alot easier to have a 90* elbow. flex can bend a 90 but it takes alot of room to do it. plus a 90 makes it look like a much better install. 4" flex will fit the whole way not sure bout the 5". Im sure someone else will be able to verify about the 5".

I did not cut the brace at first. I thought about the bed integrity. Then after everything was said and done, it was about 4" away from the fron of the bed and looked bad. I hit my head and said DUH! I wont use that part of the bed with the stacks there.

HTH,

Jon

Sure You Can Cut The Brace It Does Not Hurt Any Thing!!! I Have Done A Couple Of Stacks On 2wd But Not On Any 4x4 Or Single Cab. But I Do Know That A 4" 90 Is The Only Way To Go. 4" Flex Will Not Fit For It Takes To Much Room To Get The 90.
