Spicer # for front driveshaft joints

Hi, does anyone know the two spicer U-joints part numbers for the front drive shaft of our diesels? I know the two that are side by side in the flex joint are different than the one that goes on the front end yoke. I looked through all the stickies and found only the axle and rear driveshaft universal joint part numbers. But none for the front drive shafts.

Thank you

Guys I cannot locate my mike at this time. Can someone chime in. Is the dia of the caps on the front of the front drive shaft a:
1. 1.078'' Brg. cup dia.
(spicer #5-1306X)
or
2. 1.126'' Brg. cup dia.
(spicer #5-1309X)

The confusing thing is that my local Napa told me that the two in the cv joint are different than the front. If thats the case then by spicers website are trucks use the smaller front drive shaft u-joint??

You will need to check yours and see which one you have, it can have either one. Find a socket that is the same O.D. as the cap,Then measure it with a tape.

Capt are you sure it can have both? That would mean one trucks D60 front ends yoke will differ from others. I dont believe that is correct. I believe one is for a gas with a smaller 3500lb front end and the other is for the 4500lb front end. Thats my guess. I believe all diesels have the same. I just dont have a mike (Dad stuck it somewhere!). They are so close in size that my tape measure wont tell a difference.

Yup, I'm sure. They always ask, and I have put both kinds in a CTD.

My 91.5 took the small one, I got it at napa in the precision line. you need to take the driveshaft to napa with you and just hold the u joint up to it, It'll either be too wide to fit between the ears and the caps will be too big, or it'll be perfect.
