Speedometer adapter......need ratio?

92 4x4 Getrag with 4.10.

I have the little adapter that reverses the direction but need to know the ratio or how to find it.

Thanks

You don't need anything to reverse anything, 93's have a VSS Vehicle Speed Sensor and they don't care about which way they rotate. Only how fast they rotate.

This outfit has speed reducers or increasers, but I don't know which one you would need.

CAll teh dealer with the VIN and they should be able to tell you, but when I replaced mydrive pinion gear, VSS and gear reducer, teh only thing that had a ratio requirement was the drive pinion gear.. I dont beleive that it matters on teh gear reducer.

I guess I should explain. Just installed a new Gear Vendors and need to make a slight adjustment on the speedo. So I figured I would replace the adapter with another one using the correct ratio. I know how far I am off currently but I am not sure what the little box ratio is. Once I know that I can order the correct one and replace it.

Thanks for the answers.

in that case I beleive it will be the pinion drive gear that needs replaced....
The dealer here has a 'cheat sheet" that, with the tranny type, and rear end ratio, woudl give the correct gear size....
