Speaking of fuel pins

Does anyone make a straight profile pin?

Unless it's untaxed, then it's red.

Like the straight ramp of the stock pin, but deeper?

yup, eric (rccummins) once told me that he found the BD power pin was the best for low boost fuel tuning, all the rest of the pins add more fuel down low.

I will be switching to a BD pin from my Dennyt stg1 for this reason, trying to minimize smoke during low/no boost.

I was running an M&H M2 in my 91 and it didn't get along with the 7X.010 injectors I put in. Going back to the stock fuel pin corrected most of the low end smoke/haze issues and retuning the pump did the rest.

Bd pin was helpful to reduce the giant black cloud at take off pulling big loads. Some tuning on the smoke screw for that below 5psi fueling and the star wheel gave me just enough fuel to help the turbo spool with out the giant black cloud.I really like the BD pin.

Was your '91 intercooled or non intercooled? I didn't like the smoke from my '93 with the M2 pin. I swapped in a stiffer AFC spring out of an '89 and my smoke problems went away.

Intercooled. Didn't have a problem with the 5X.012 and the M2, just the 7 holers. With the 7 holers, it acted like a turbo stall that I couldn't make go away until I went back to the stock pin.
