spare ve pump?

Does anyone know where I might be able to pick up a spare pump(dosen't matter if it's seized up or not) cheap?Looking for one to take apart and get some hands on before I actualy start tinkering with mine.Wouldn't hurt to have one laying around for spare parts either.

I saw one a few days ago in the 1st gen section of the classified ads. I think bgilbert had it for sale. Good luck with your truck mods.

Yeah spare parts are nice to have! trust me! I have had my pump torn apart for a week cuz I lost the top hat piece while takin it apart and its been heck tryin to find one. But Begle had one and sold me one, so I'm just waitin for it in the mail. It would be fun to figure out how it works too! good luck

oh and also to let you know, most of the parts for these old VE pumps are obsolete. I learned that this week, I went into Industrial Injection in Salt Lake to see if i could buy the tophat part from them and they said that they were obsolete and they don't make em anymore, and they could only get one if they tore it out of a junk pump. So i just thought I'd let you all know.
