Why not use the OEM crossbar to secure the tire after you winch it up?

the one i did worked out to be just above the bumper for the handle

Good idea but I find the cross bar to be a total PITA and will delight in heaving it into the scrap pile! I don't think the spare is going anywhere.

I though of that but Boeingguy already did the research! Looking at it, it should come out right about where Boeingguy said it would. Probably not going to run the stock bumper anyhow.
