Son now has a WRX, I need more power.
[QUOTE=trksrfun;2716258]I had a 95 9C1 with mild work done and LOVED that car, never should have sold it
My GPS shows what the all time max speed was and itsays 253MPH, (don't ask me how)..
I've got a 1996 Impala SS, and I love mine as well. For such a big heavy car, they are fun to drive. They handle surprisingly well(nothing like a WRX I'm sure), and it scoots pretty good for being almost bone stock(CAI and cat-back). I am pretty sure my wife's 300C would smoke the Impala though.
I have always heard that the WRX's are a blast to drive, but they are just so dang small.

the thing you need to consider about handling is on highway a boat should out handle a little sports car at speeds, while in the turns the small sports car will win every time. These trucks handle the highway pretty darn good also. I've been in a 300C and they accelerate better than the cobra, mostly because of the traction down low. I think the 253 may be a glitch, i've had the max speed read 99mph in a linetruck....which won't do snot over 55mph.
Your numbers are very impressive but I think that STI will still give you a good run for your money and if it's got any decent mods I'd even put money on the STI. I would also expect your 1/4 mile numbers to be much lower with a higher mph with your HP/TQ ratings. Are you having traction issues?
