Well I just picked up a 91 12valve with 45K original for free. I gut thought it had a blown motor but its was just the starter. Body needs some help but this is only going to be a beater. I was wondering I someone and help me with some quick cheap mods to give this thing some more go. I know nothing about the VE pump so please excuse my ignorance with this gen. Thanks for the help.

 

Read the sticky at the top of the page, there is more than enough info there to get you addicted or in trouble. It will tell you how to turn the pump up but you should have a pyro before doing that. Most bang for the $ is the 3200 (366) govenor spring @ around 15 bucks, in my opinion. Smaller exhaust housing is also a big improvment but more costly, but you can find them used. Is your 91 intercooled? If not your injectors will be plenty big for some good numbers.

 

Free is good. The non-intercooled 2wd auto's can really scoot down the dragstrip with just some pump tweaking and a $15 spring.
