smoke screw?
smoke screw?
Whatever screw it is on the pump that makes these things belch black smoke, I'd like to set up a motor on it so I can flip a switch and have a smoky motor on demand. I don't know what it is about the people here in McCook that there is always someone tailgating me because I drive this old slow truck at the speed limit, especially in town. It would be great to be able to flip a switch, move left a little, roll into it, and leave them in a cloud of unburnt fuel. Especially the ones out on the highway that tailgate you like they want to pass but don't have the ***** to pull out and get by. The speed limit is 65, how much faster do they want to go?
Rant over.

You didn't hear this from me but,
under the back bumper of one of my vehicles is a JC Winey windshield washer set up. In the fluid bag is good ol #2 (diesel, not the other #2, but that would be better). If their head lights disappear below the tail gate, they are close enough. When they turn on their windshield wipers, it only makes it worse.

I know with my truck it didn't smoke much either until I turned
The starwheel down really far. Mines down about 6 turns. Even still only smoked a bit when I put foot through the floor. I had to turn the full power screw in some before it started to smoke. I only turned it about a half turn and now it leaves a cloud when I step on it passing cars or from a stop. That's my experience anyways.
About a switch I've seen people talk about a valet switch which I think does what your talkin about but I'm not sure how it works

My truck has pods in it so my smoke switch is the throttle. It depends how much smoke I want as to how fast I stab the throttle.

full power screw? assuming u mean the smoke screw?
There's another screw that is at the back of the pump behind the fuel lines and stuff. Its covered by a plastic cap as well. Its a bit of pain to get at but it makes a huge difference. A lot of the guys will tell you to remove the screw and remove the collar that's on it then put it back in. So it will go in farther and give you more power. But you gotta be careful when doing this go to far and the motor can run away. I didn't remove the collar on mine just because
I still have the stock 3spd trans and converter and I don't feel like replacing them right now. One day though ill get some better equipment and then really start to play with the pump
