smoke

Just comparing my CTDs. My 89, stock, actually blows a misty layer of smoke. Not overly thick, just enough for me to know its there. Truck is loaded and I'm manuevering in my driveway. This happens. Compared to the 01, the 89 smokes a lot. Do the 89s just throw more smoke, generally speaking?

89 is stock.

As far as emissions go, the '01 is light years ahead of the '89. Much higher injection pressure, better injector location, and much tighter control of fuel delivery and timing. The '89 will seem like a sloppy pig in comparison.
