1993 dodge diesel club cab 4x4 in the best shape I have ever seen one, hehe.
So I just spent the last 45 mins grinding down my fuel pin after taking the advice of some good reading on here.
I jump in the truck with my 7 yr old and were rolling down the street until the truck warms up and I think I can feel it right away but not sure, then once it warms up I gently put my foot into it, NOT, hehe, and the truck rolls over in its grave and comes to life, what a cheap great modification, Im still grinning ear to ear right now.
I think Ill do the exhaust tommoro and then on and on after feeling how smooth and fun that fuel pin mod was.

Congrats on your new truck. While going with an larger exhaust, I would look into investing in gauges (Pyro, and Boost). By giving the Fuel Screw a turn or two and installing a 3200 GSK, you will really feel your truck come to life.
Where is the fuel screw on these trucks and ill give that a shot today, and what is a 3200 gsk, can I install that myself, I found the fuel pin a fairly easy procedure but I am not means a mechanic
Do the gauges before you do anything else
Here is the install info for the 3200 spring

So I had a look a the diagrams for the power screw adjustment screw,
Tell me if this is what it is, yesterday when I did the fuel screw I had to take off a bolt with 2 copper washers off the side of the pump, before I took off the 4 screws that hold down the diaphram, there is a bolt which was underneath a rubber cap with a very small hole in it located right below the one with the copper washer I had to take off yesterday, is that the fuel screw, the hole was so small that I am not to sure if its a alan wrench or what it is, but from the diagram on this forum it looks right I may be in the right spot but doesnt look like the right thing.
The truck is a 93 diesel,

That don't sound like the main-fuel-screw, to me.
On the upper side of the pump, sort of between the body of the pump and the valve-covers, is a long screw with a lock-nut.
If it hasn't already been removed, there should be a thin tin tamper-proof cap, sort of a thimble-looking thing, pointing toward the firewall.
You need to tear off this thin cap.
Inside it will be the fuel screw.
It requires a 12mm wrench to loosen the lock-nut, and a LONG slender straight screw-driver to adjust the screw.
A very little goes a long way.
Some go even farther and remove the collar that limits fuel-screw travel; but, you are getting in "runaway" territory when this is done.

So i found the thimble looking thing and ripped it off and there was the screw I was looking for, I turned it in about 4 turns but the idle is now way high on the truck so I left the truck running umtil the idle came back to normal but that is were the screw was from the factory.
So how are you able to turn that screw in for more power without the trucks idle reving out of control, there is now way you can screw that screrw in all the way or the truck is doing 2000 rpms at idle.
So how can I make this happen.
And whats next, i just came from the muffler shop for the 4 inch exhaust but they are closed for the long weekend so thats turesdays project

I just took the idle screw and backed it right off, it helpeed a bit but it is now backed off right to the max where it is not even touching the lever, and the fuel screw might be one full turn max from stock, so is there another thing that might turn the idle down
Fuel screw
I ordered a fuel pin from xtreme diesel yesturday! because I didn't want to mess with the stock pin. "Now" my question is the timing has been bumped up and the fuel screw turned up a tad and she runs pretty good, how do you guys think that that pins going to do having to timing bumped up and screwed turned already?
