I searched eBay last night and found a complete setup for a NV4500 from a 2001, bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, x member. Would this work in a 1st gen truck? The price is flying up so fast I may pass and keeping searching... The seller does not want to ship and it's 14 hours away...FL. I'm sure there may be members of DTR bidding too...lol. I would prefer to have the 5spd in the truck...that way it will be thrifty on fuel on the interstate. I just printed my trip permit to drive the '93 home...it feels like xmas to me. I haven't felt this anticipation in a long time... How high of a bid should I place?...it's a take out tranny (someone upgraded to a 6 speed) and not a rebuilt unit. Which leads me to ask if I could bolt up a 6 speed in the '84 as well? Many thanks....

The diesel 727 is made specifically for the diesels, internals are similar, but heavier, more pinions, more clutches. And the V10's could have had either a 47RH or a 47RE depending on year, 94-95 would have a RH and 96 and up would have an RE.
thanks for the info. now next time i wont look so dumb when it comes to dodge questions. lol Ask me an LSx engine question and I'm on it.
